“Applying Green Building Research Today"
Agenda Overview for DAY 2, JULY 18
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Theme: Social Science/Human Behavior, Building and Community
The physical environment where we live and work directly impacts our behavior. Beyond traditional metrics of resource efficiency, such as energy savings, well designed buildings and neighborhoods can provide options that can positively affect health, improve mobility, foster closer knit communities, and increase economic competitiveness. Day 2 will explore how green building and community design can help promote triple bottom line goals.
